Life is not about finding yourself--It is about creating yourself.

For my fellow creative minds out there....
This is pretty much a "not" to-do list...make sense? Or in easier terms a list of things not to do as an artist.
***Found this and wanted to share it with you all :)
1.) Constantly compare yourself to other artists and their work
2.) Talk to your family and friends about what you do and expect them to appreciate and understand.
3.) Base the success of your entire career on one project that may turn out well.
4.) Stick with what you know and never experiment.
5.) Undervalue your expertise.
6.) Let money dictate what you do.
7.) Bow to societal pressures.
8.) Only do work that others would enjoy instead of pleasing yourself.
9.) Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investors asks.
10.) Set unachievable/Overwhelming goals to be accomplished by tomorrow.

DONT LET PEOPLE TELL YOU THAT THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.... THERE ARE FOOTPRINTS ON THE MOON---REACH HIGHER!
